Larkin and Latarsha Ison Jr. are founders and Co-CEOs of SOIL Inc. Formed in 2020,  SOIL Inc. is a disabled veteran / female / minority owned company formed to consistently facilitate and manage purposeful, challenging work building, developing, and maintaining community infrastructure. Proud parents of three children, Larkin III, Sidney Ellise, and Kyla Marie, the family has combined its efforts, experiences, passions, and talents to help build the foundation of SOIL Inc. Larkin Ison III is a rising senior, Economics major, and NCAA Div. I football player at Princeton University; head Marketing Department Consultant at BondCliQ; Business Analyst at ViableMkts LLC; and owner/CEO of iSOCOM LLC. Sidney Ellise Ison holds a BA in Biochemistry from Huntingdon College and is currently pursuing an advanced degree in Medicine at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) - Auburn. She is the owner/CEO of SIDNEY ELLISE LLC.  Kyla Marie Powell is one of the most experienced, professional and reliable first-line responders in the greater-Huntsville metropolitan area, serving as a certified emergency medical technician (EMT) and Paramedic.

Building from diverse, progressive backgrounds and experiences in construction, finance/investments, industrial, medical, startups, technological, & utility sectors, SOIL Inc. is dedicated to building and nurturing relationships enabling improvements in quality of life for people in our rapidly developing communities utilizing continuous improvement processes strategically implemented using change management methodologies to resolve customers’ issues

Latarsha Ison

Latarsha Ison, co-CEO and founder of SOIL Inc. embodies and epitomizes the SOIL Inc. vision of Seeking Out In Love. A proud graduate of James Oliver Johnson High School, more commonly referred to as J.O. Johnson High School or “J.O.J.”, which was a public high school located in the northwest area of Huntsville, Alabama where she was raised. Serving as a medical professional for Huntsville Hospital for over 15 years, Latarsha has dedicated much of her career and personal life to care, support, and well-being of people in her immediate and extended family and community. Her passion and care for people combined with her entrepreneurial spirit and instinctive business acumen make her the driving force behind the vision of “...doing more with less as less becomes more; and helping our customers and business partners do the same.”

Larkin Ison Jr.

Larkin Ison Jr. is co-CEO and founder of SOIL Inc. and owner/CEO of multi-media production subsidiary, Connect the Dots Production LLC. A disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Larkin served as a Microwave/Multichannel Communications Equipment Technician (MOS 2831). Larkin is a 2nd-generation retiree from Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), having served as a Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician/Dual-Rate Foreman, Work Package Closure Specialist, Maintenance Specialist/Procedure Writer, Management Specialist/Sr. Maintenance Instructor Lead, and Central In-Processing (CIP) & Training Manager (Acting) in approximately 13 years with the company..

Larkin left TVA to promote the cause of green energy and global sustainability, joining the first-of-its-kind (Since TVA’s Watts Bar Unit 1 in May 1996) nuclear construction/new plant build project. Larkin, Latarsha, and Larkin Ison III spent nearly five pivotal years in Augusta, GA as he served nearly seven years providing management support for the AP1000 nuclear construction projects at Plants V.C. Summer (Columbia, SC) and Vogtle (Augusta, GA), before returning to Huntsville, AL in 2020. During his time in construction, Larkin specialized in servant leadership  through efforts in mentorship, project and program management, HR/personnel development (i.e. people and culture), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program implementation, learning and development, marketing and innovation, and sales.
